CA March in March Campaign – LACCD Confirmations

This information applies only to students/faculty/classified staff from the Los Angeles Community College District:

Travel Requirements for LACCD Students

All 180 LACCD attendees must complete three confirmations to receive a flight itinerary.
Seats will be assigned first come, first serve basis, so please complete all steps as soon as possible.

Flights for the March in March event in Sacramento will depart from:

  • Burbank (BUR):

    • 66 Seats

    • Departure: 9am - 10:30am

    • Return: 7:45pm - 9pm

  • Long Beach (LGB):

    • 90 Seats

    • Departure: 7:05am - 8:35am

    • Return: 6:45pm - 8:15pm

  • Los Angeles (LAX):

    • 24 Seats

    • Departure: 7am - 8:29am

    • Return: 7:50pm - 9:31pm

Note:

  • The March is an all-day event. Please plan ahead and notify your professors of any expected absences.

Confirmation One: Complete the RSVP

Submit the RSVP with accurate information to avoid delays with your flight booking.
You must provide:

  • Full legal name (exactly as it appears on your travel ID)

  • Date of birth

  • Gender

Confirmation Two: Complete the LACCD Field Trip Waiver

This waiver is required for participation and ensures everyone’s safety.

Steps:

  1. Download the LACCD Field Trip Waiver.

  2. Read and sign Part A & Part B.

  3. Sign Part C only if you are not part of a student club.

Sample Itinerary
  • Workshop participants ease into the day with creative prompts and a welcome circle to get grounded and set the tone.

  • Our first session focuses on the foundations of floral design. From tool basics to flower care and simple composition tips, you’ll start building confidence and finding your creative rhythm.

  • Participants will be responsible for brining their own lunch, but we'll provide water and some additional snacks throughout the day.

  • With the basics fresh, we’ll dive into hands-on arranging. We’ll explore shape, scale, and movement while encouraging personal style through floral design.

  • To close the day, you’ll create a final piece to share with the group. We’ll reflect on your process and celebrate the creativity that unfolded.
